Account & Data Deletion

At EverTale, we prioritize your privacy and your right to control your data. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. When you request an account deletion, we immediately and permanently remove your email address, save states, and story histories from our active systems.

How to Delete Your Data

You can request data deletion through one of the following methods:

Method 1: From within the EverTale App

1. Open the EverTale application on your device.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete Account & Data and confirm your choice.

For security, deletion requires a recent sign-in. If prompted, sign out, sign back in, and try again.

Method 2: Via Email Request

If you no longer have access to the app, you may request deletion by email:

1. Send an email to privacy@evertale.xyz from the email address associated with your EverTale account.
2. Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
3. Include a brief note confirming your intention to delete your entire account and all associated data records.

Data Retention Period

Once an account deletion is requested, active user data is destroyed immediately. Residual copies might remain in secure, encrypted backup systems for up to 30 days before being fully purged.
